Hi guys, here is a sneak peek at some info and the prize list (partial) for the upcoming Tippmann Challenge West, being held at TPG on 10/10/2010.

Tickets at PBL Surrey now, and soon to be at PaintballGear. First 250 presold tickets get a free event tshirt!

1 x Tippmann Bravo One Tactical
3 x Tippmann A-5 basic
2 x Tippmann X7 basic
1 x Tippmann SL-68 II
1 x Tippmann Tango One
1 x Tippmann Roller Gear bag
1 x Tippmann Field bag
1 x Tippmann Players bag
1 x Eye Tactical CM210
1 x Eye Tactical Helmet
2 x WarSensor Messenger bag
TPX with Milsig holster for best costume! Note that we are looking for period costumes, not a Cow, the Joker, Ghillie suit kid, etc. Best costume ever still goes to Moreno from Axis vs Allies for his Private Ryan outfit - let's see something that good again!

Matt / TPG

Damn... you mean I put all that work into my ghillie-suited Joker cow outfit for nothing?!?

In theme, eh? Then the Pacific conflict you're referring to is WWII era? Cold War? The disputed fishing territories of the north pacific?

All joking aside, I agree that scenario specific costumes are most appropriate... after all, it's a Scenario.

One contest I miss is that sniper / sharpshooter competition you had a few years back. That was fun, but I can see how it may have taken up a few resources and players away from the main event. It was fitting though that Ryan won that contest with a fully modded Tippy, considering who the sponsors were. Anyone who says speedball guns are more accurate than milsim markers should have been there.

Accuracy contest may just be coming back, as well as the 2 on 2 TPX duel.

And yes, in theme would be WWII American or Japanese costume. :)
