I am sure many heard richmond open a indoor paintball field. woodball people must try at least once or twice but here are some pros and cons though:
Pros:
- indoor (no wind and on rain)
- design like a street (well spaced and great set up of barricade)
- buildings with 2nd floor
- really good rental gears (new milsig markers, digital camo coverall, full head mask, compress air tank and gxg vest)
- good ref (friendly and firm)
- decent lighting
- allow speedball markers
- finally a good indoor scenario field
- drop in start at 7pm to midnight
Cons:
- expansive ($28 for admission and $201 for a case of paint after tax)
- hard to identify teammates (no tag or tape to separate teams, just vest)
- 220 fps
- floors get slippery (paint on floor)
- maximum of 40 players
- have to use gravity hopper (depends)
- drop in start too late

yea i am pretty sure there are more pros and cons but for now thats all i can think of and my experiences on the field. for more info about the field here are their website http://www.shockentertainment.ca/en/

I remember indoor days back at ColourWars which was kick ass. but $201 a case PLUS admission?!?!? HAHAHAHA
but maybe for the players in Richmond that roll around in the BMW, Benz and Porsche's it's not that big of a deal.

It makes sense. They must have HUGE overhead costs to run a place like that. However, it's not paintball in the conventional sense. You have mag-fed markers with only 16-18 rounds a mag. This keeps the indoor mess to a minimum, and overshooting will be almost non-existent (both good things for indoor). If everyone is shooting so little paint, one case between a bunch of friends will go a long way.

I see this being a hit for the bachelor party renter crowd. It's not for Ego owners (the gun, AND the attitude). ;)

Very interesting. I like the limited paint aspect, which plays strongly towards pumps. I have never played paintball indoors, but it'll be great from those days that rain.
